What is the Gone Away Database?
Last Updated 8 years ago

The Gone Away flag means that the person is listed on the 'Gone Away Suppression' database held by CallCredit and others. This means that at some point in the past, they stopped living at the address in question. This is seen as a potentially fraudulent occurrence, although often caused by something as simple as an extended holiday (like a student gap year) or when the person was living away at Halls of Residence whilst studying, it may also indicate that they are deceased or permanently moved away.
